Our client has been providing customers throughout Interior British Columbia and Vancouver Coast with quality sanitation products and ongoing recommendations to enhance building safety, employee productivity, and facility image. Our goal is to improve the clients’ overall image so that the building occupants and customers have the best possible experience.
What your will do:Perform routine maintenance on institutional dish machines, chemical dispensers and janitorial equipment

Perform repairs on Institutional dish machines, chemical dispensers and janitorial equipment

Diagnose problems and determine the correct solution

Find part numbers for parts required for the repair

Maintain rapport with customers with a good attitude

Document service and installation actions by completing forms, service reports, and logs

Work in cooperation with service team

Update job knowledge by participating in the educational opportunities offered

Follow all company’s filed procedures and processes

Operate company vehicle in a safe manner

Keep company equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs when needed

Proven field service experienceAbility to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment

Ability to work flexible hours and to adapt to changing work schedules

Ability to read and understand technical diagrams.

Experience with basic hand and power tools

Basic Plumbing understanding

Basic computer skills

Needs understanding of both AC and DC electrical power

Experience in the repair of dish machines, dispensers, janitorial equipment or pressure washers an asset

Must be able to discern color differences

Physically able to meet requirements of the job which may include, working in confined spaces, lifting heavy equipment, and bending down frequently

Technical degree or certification
