In-House Designer

Our client is currently hiring an In-House Designer for their flooring and tile showroom.  (While this is a maternity leave position….there is the potential to turn into a full-time permanent role for the right person.)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

In this position you will be asked to work with walk-in showroom sales, conduct and spearhead meeting with various clients, and document detailed design layouts, selections and pricing
-Showroom sales
-Conducting and spearheading meetings with various clients
-Documenting detailed design selections, layouts and pricing.

-Excellent communication skills– written and oral
-Strong observation and listening skills
-Strong leadership and accountability skills
-Computer skills

Previous flooring experience is not necessary, but knowledge of Building plans and working drawings would be considered an asset.
