Construction Manager

Our client, an award winning residential builder, is in search of an experienced Construction Manager.  The ideal candidate is responsible for the overall macro management of construction on specified site or sites.  As the Construction Manager you must be able to work closely with a strong team of professionals on various projects.

Must have proven experience in the following areas:

-Scheduling using Microsoft Project
-Scheduling from Excavation through to framing & Drywall
-Ability to provide weekly status reports and maintain ongoing communication to management -Ability to execute on timely schedules and adhere to solid deadlines
-Scheduling and management of day to day site operations with all trades, suppliers and inspections
-Produce quantity take-offs for all required aspects of homes
-Material ordering for all construction
-Ability to follow procedures using a valid Change Order Form
-Oversee all safety on site
-Maintain a high level of quality control
-Maintain a clean and well organized site
-Ability to problem solve, troubleshoot and crisis management
-All warranty work related to homes
-Ability to promote a positive client, trade/RCML relations

Must possess 5+ years’ experience in a similar role along with exceptional organizational skills.
This position is located in the North Okanagan.
