This is a Temporary Full-Time position with the possibility of leading to a Full-Time Permanent role.
Our client is seeking an Accounting Clerk that will focus on accounts receivable, accounts payable, utility billing, land title searches, record management, and filing.
QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum completion of an Accounting Diploma or equivalent
• 3 or more years of administrative/accounting experience
• Vadim software experience preferred; working experience with accounting programs
• Working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Municipal experience an asset
• Strong organizational skills- prioritizing, organizing and planning effectively to meet all deadlines
• Self-motivated- thrives on taking ownership of duties and can work independently as well as a team member
• Proven ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a fast-paced work environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Good understanding of accounting principles
